Version

MekHQ 0.49.2

Description

Whilst using the AtB/Stratcon rules with the MekHQ RAT generator turned on I encountered a Clan Wolf OpFor utilising an Eisenfaust EFT-2 as a convoy unit, this variant is a single unit prototype created for the LCAF. I have also sometimes run into the -4J as well, which shouldn't be found outside of Hesperus II as it's a testbed unit only used there. It should likely be blocked from appearing on non-LC RATs, as people would have to explicitly buy the design from Defiance.

RAT Generator files are managed via MegaMek. At the time of the files creation the units where allowed via the MUL (Master Unit List) CGL provides. Since there inception looks like faction availabilities have been updated.

The RAT generator does not generate any model of Eisenfaust for any faction between 2700 and 3075, or for Clan Wolf in any era. I don't know where MekHQ came up with this unit, but it wasn't through the RAT generator. This is not a MM issue.

Pretty sure this is an effective duplicate of #1416

Eisenfaust-2 is a Primitive mech, which is one of several non-timeline-respecting tables that get picked from for "civilian" units in AtB (and apparently also StratCon). The Primitive mech table in particular tends to throw up some stuff that ought to have been extinct for ages, but the other "civilian" tables have their own issues, like stuff that hasn't been invented yet. It also uses the same table(s) regardless of faction.
