CLI Tool GIF

Prerequisites

For the orginal command line tool:

  • Python 3.11
  • Nmap application (nmap.org/download)
  • Paramiko library (pip install paramiko)
  • nmap library (pip install python-nmap)
  • Colorama library (pip install colorama)

Install all dependencies with a single command:

pip install paramiko python-nmap colorama

For the GUI script: (I'm pretty sure this is broken ATM)

(You still need everything above as well!)

  • qdarkstyle library (pip install qdarkstyle)
  • PyQt5 library (pip install PyQt5)

  3. Run the script using the Python interpreter with either: python gui-tool.py or python command-line-tool.py depending on your desired script.
  4. The script will run and search for Ubiquiti devices on your network and display the results.
  5. If you choose to run the set-inform command, follow the prompts to enter the required information, such as your UniFi controller's IP/FQDN and optional custom SSH credentials.

Features

  • Automatic discovery of Ubiquiti devices using nmap.
  • nmap arguments to skip pings and invrease verbosity.
  • Option to run a set-inform command on all of the discovered devices.
  • Customizable SSH credentials for connecting to currently adopeted devices.
