I can't even get 0.7.2 to launch on Catalina 10.15.1:

Tried downloading several times. Something's not right.

edit: ok, got it to launch, had to unzip the archive with BetterZip instead of the built-in Archive utility. Not sure why. Now I can launch it, but I have the same prefs issue as the above posters.

I'll try it when I get back home tonight (I'm at PST). If the Zip file is somehow damaged I'll upload a new one here (in this issue as an attachment) so that you guys can test it before I push it to the world.

The preference panel issue seems to be independent of the binary corruption issue. The binary issue would be tracked in #1106. I’m still working on this both issue.

I’ll prioritize that issue since that is blocking everyone, and I’m probably the only one who can solve it. For this issue, maybe someone with energy can help me (everything is in this source repository).

When I tried 0.7.2 on macOS 10.14.6 I saw the same mostly-empty panel in Preferences > Markdown as @dyp2000 so I don't think this is Catalina-specific.

The fix in PR will be included in 0.7.3; I’m still researching about reason of #1104 and I want to fix it before I make a new release.

Heads-up: v0.7.3 fixes this issue without fixing #1104.
