I have always felt a draw towards programming, but it wasn't until later in life that I realized my potential in coding. My initial interest began in college, but I chose to pursue a career in developmental therapy, where I worked closely with children with autism. This experience taught me invaluable lessons about empathy, patience, and adaptability.
While I gained a great deal from my time in therapy, I found that it didn't ignite the motivation I was seeking. It was during this period that I recognized the exciting possibilities within the tech world, leading me to make a career change into software development.
What excites me most about this field is the opportunity to be creative and take on leadership roles. I believe my background in therapy has equipped me with strong problem-solving skills, allowing me to approach challenges with a unique perspective. Additionally, my experience has fostered a deep sense of empathy, which helps me understand user needs and collaborate effectively with my team.
As I continue my journey in software development, I am eager to create impactful projects that reflect my passion for technology and my commitment to making a difference.
