Guys, it's 2014 and the project doesn't have a test suite. You can't expect to prevent regressions or be able to refactor safely without the basics in place.

I agree I think unit tests should be implemented. Toby how do you think we

A quick search makes the following good candidates since they integrate with CMake well:

I personally haven't had much experience with these but could give it a shot at adding a very simple test case to get things up and running (unless if anyone else wants to give a jab at this).

@lukas-w Added a test suite infrastructure to LMMS right?

The only problem is that this issue will never be closed unless we define an objective goal here, I vote to close it.
