PortaDOOM is a self-contained, portable collection of the best ever classic DOOM maps, presented as an early '90s MS-DOS disk-zine. Everything has been pre-configured to launch with just a press of a key. You do not need to own the original DOOM or DOOM II for most content (FreeDOOM 1 & 2 is substituted automatically), but if you install them from GoG or Steam, they will be detected automatically.

Known Issues
- For playback of demos, the automatic substitution of FreeDOOM if the user does not have DOOM installed anywhere (GOG, Steam) should be blocked as demos for canonical DOOM wads cannot be played back on FreeDOOM! In the case of TNT & Plutonia, the launcher effectively crashes as there is no substitute WAD
- No detection for Epic Games store or Microsoft Store DOOM installs yet
- Doom 4 Vanilla (Cacowards 2019) crashes GZDoom after quiting. This is a bug introduced in GZDoom v4.11 and can be ignored for now
- Void and Rainbow's page says 11 maps, it's actually 1
- Ashes 2063 page says 49 maps, it's actually 16. Also, it doesn't mention it's the upgraded Enriched edition
