When I was reworking the answer - "What is the difference between overriding and overloading?" I caught myself thinking:
"But there is already a whole generation of developers who have never written code in Java"
At the last interview I took part in, we didn’t ask anything about Java at all. Indeed, Android has switched to Kotlin quite a long time ago and we should follow it. It is necessary to rewrite the answers about Java to Kotlin, leaving in the answers about Java only some basic things that do not relate to Kotlin.
I think, in the future (not so distant anymore), we will completely abandon the Java section and the questions about it.
