An engaging and informative blog dedicated to everything about Oslo, from hidden gems to well-known attractions.
The Oslo City Blog is a project I created to share insights, stories, and tips about Norway's capital, Oslo. This blog is perfect for both tourists and locals looking to explore the city in a more in-depth manner. The project includes:
- Personal anecdotes and experiences from various places in Oslo
- Guides to Oslo's culture, cuisine, and entertainment
- Photographs and visual stories that highlight the city's unique character
The technologies and tools used in this project include:
- HTML
- Css
- Javascript
- Wordpress - fetching images and blogposts from wordpress
- Visual studio code - Codeeditor
- One - Hosting my wordpress content
This project was developed using Local by Flywheel, exported, coded using Visual Studio Code, and then set up on a live server, fetching data from an API.
To set up the project locally, follow these steps:
- Clone the repo:
- Clone the project's GitHub repository to your local machine.

- I used Live Server to run the project locally on my computer. To do this, follow these steps:

Open the project in a code editor, such as Visual Studio Code.

Install the Live Server extension if you haven't already.

Right-click on an HTML file in the project (like index.html) and select Open with Live Server.

Your browser will automatically open the project on a local server.
