About The Project

As of right now a command line interface that manages the portfolio itself. Successfully communicates with the API to execute said trades which can be viewed using the alpaca markets dashboard.

Getting Started

This is an example of how you may give instructions on setting up your project locally. To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.

Prerequisites

  • Python 3

Dependencies

  • Alpaca Trade API
  • Colorama
  • Numpy
  • Pandas
  • Requests
  • Lxml
  • Bs4
  • Datetime

Installation

  1. Get a free API Key at https://alpaca.markets/
  2. Clone the repo
    git clone https://github.com/John4064/Algo-Trading.git
  3. Install Dependencies
    pip install "X"
  4. Enter your API Keys in config.py
    API_KEY = 'ENTER YOUR API'
    API_SECRET = 'ENTER YOUR API'
    or for test API
    TESTAPI_KEY = 'ENTER YOUR API'
    TESTAPI_SECRET = 'ENTER YOUR API'
