Release 1.1.5
Download the installer TikTok.Downloader.Setup(x64).msi and open it. Follow the instructions provided by the installer.
New in this Release:
- Downloading Images & Videos now functions when downloading a user profile's content.
- More information is logged, including:
- System CPU, GPU, RAM, and free storage of the default download directory.
- System Region and Language.
- Windows username is now hidden in logs for privacy reasons.
- JSON errors during image/video downloads are logged.
- Direct download URLs to media are logged in the file.
- Improved error handling during media downloads.
Fixed:
- GitHub Profile link was hardcoded to open Google Chrome.
- Spelling issues in the GUI.
Important:
To enable TikTok user downloads, you need a Chromium-based browser installed, as Firefox & other Browsers are currently unsupported.
Known Issues:
- The update may break the old shortcut in the Taskbar (expected fix in the next release).
- Non-Chromium-based browsers are incompatible.
- Microsoft Edge doesn't close correctly due to Microsoft's handling of closing actions. Manually kill Edge processes via Task Manager after it´s "closing" .
