The plan is for supporting iOS 11.0 or greater, since we're supporting 64-bit binaries only.
So, the short answer is no: we're not planning to support 8.4.1. However, we've accepted a PR to lower the version in the framework project to iOS 9.0: #18
You could try rebuilding the framework with a lower iOS target by looking into the necessary changes.
There is no plan to support this version of iOS, so I'm closing this issue. If a Pull Request comes to support it, we'll evaluate it at the time. Thank you.
