Top menu item "View" throws exception when hoovered/opened #6481

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Top menu item "View" throws the following exception when hovered.
  2. After the exception, JabRef remains usable, just the "View" submenu can't be dropped down/opened anymore.

I am not always able to reproduce this but I've seen this exception a few times in the last couple of weeks before reporting it. (Just updated to the newest JR devsnapshot and will post an update to this issue when it reoccurs.)

Thank you for reporting this issue. We think, that is already fixed in our development version and consequently the change will be included in the next release.

We would like to ask you to use a development build from https://builds.jabref.org/master and report back if it works for you. Please remember to make a backup of your library before trying-out this version.
