# Objective

- Allows conversion of mutable queries to immutable queries.
- Fixes bevyengine#4606

## Solution

- Add `to_readonly` method on `Query`, which uses `QueryState::as_readonly`
- `AsRef` is not feasible because creation of new queries is needed.
