  • Added new "Welcome Screen" which explains what the mod is, this will only show once and never again, please read it! (There is also a video on my channel explaining how to use the mod https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNMASU7GQBs if needed)
  • Fixed issue where URL-based skins (url, username and uuid skin sources) would cause crashes.
  • Temporarily disabled the arrows on the carousel screen due to an issue with SpruceUI, either use the grid screen or your scrollbar to move the carousel now.
  • General improvements and cleanup.

  • Added support for 1.21.4
  • Improved validation for .png skin files, meaning you wont be able to accidently load pesky .jpg files disguised as .png files causing an infinite loop of crashes that require you to reset your entire SkinShuffle configuration and preset files.

  • Fixed bug where the skin model would not show on the preset edit screen.

  • Fixed many crashes related to configuration and preset loading.
  • Dropped support for 1.20.6 and 1.20.4, please either downgrade to 1.20.1 or upgrade to 1.21
  • Fixed issue where skin preset wasn't showing in the main menu or pause menu.
  • Fixed issue where default skin preset wasn't being applied or displayed within the preset menu if it was your first time running the game with the mod.
  • Fixed issue where presets wouldn't save, especially resource location skin presets.
  • Fixed issue where the game would crash if the narrator was enabled in the grid skin preset screen.

This update brings some QOL fixes and general stability improvements.

  • No longer uses entities to render skins on the title screen and preset edit screens - this should fix a wide array of compatability issues and crashes.
  • The game no longer hangs when loading a skin on the source edit tab.
  • Added korean translations - thanks @good7777865!
  • Added new option to display your current cape within skin previews, this by default is disabled.
  • Fixed button placement on main menu when mod menu is not installed.

  • Fix crashes with quotes on Windows when syncing skins on the edit screen. Quotes will be removed before sync and before preset saving.
  • Native image handling has been cleaned up - hopefully reducing the number of crashes for users on Windows 10 versions below <1903 and Windows 11 versions above March 2024 patch - this issue is a bug that Mojang has been trying to fix for a while, not much I can do about it.
