Code highlighting style setting in params.yaml

Hello, could somebody help with code highlighting! The Docs does not seem up to date with this topic. I have the following code in in my params.yaml

features:
  syntax_highlighter:
    enable: true
    extra_languages:
      - julia
    highlight_style: "github"

The code in my md files gets highlighted. However, the style does not change, no matter what style I give to highlight_style: in the params.yaml. What I am doing wrong?

Not sure what theme it is using...

The correct way the specify the theme is:

features:
  syntax_highlighter:
    enable: true
    extra_languages:
      - julia
    theme: "nord"
