^v does not paste

Hm, it is interesting, because it works for me (MacBook, latest firefox, Ventura).

Did you assign anything else on ^v in karabiner? Maybe you have some conflict setting. Or, did you assign anything via MacOs settings for this hotkey?

Thanks for replying. I am also running Ventura. As for your suggestion, I have nothing else in Karabiner. Another thing I noticed is that ^c works on the body of a page, but not on text input boxes. Thanks again.

So, I returned to my MacBook. I tried both things (^v, and ^c on text input boxes), and they work fine.

It is hard to say, why you have problems. Maybe it makes sense to remove my modifications at all, and start creating them step by step, watching, that everything works as expected.

I remember that I had problems, when I had remapping in MacOs settings. Just to be sure, that you don't have anything there:

Sorry for all the trouble you are taking over this. I have just checked, I have no entries under Firefox in System Settings/Keyboard/App Shortcuts, and nothing else in Karabiner. Just to make sure, I disabled the ^V remapping I had under All Applications: no go. The curious thing is that the ^c remapping works just fine (even though I also have it remapped to copying under All Applications), but ^v absolutely refuses to work. As I mentioned before, ^a works, but only on the body of a page, not on any input boxes. Anyway, I do appreciate your help, but I'd hate to see you wasting any more time. Regards.
