Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
No problem - it is simply tedious to use extended punctuation or numbers on the "home" keyboard
Describe the solution you'd like
an option to have symbols or numbers be entered with swipes instead of pressing and holding a key - a nice to have would be allowing symbols to exist in 2 or 4 corners of each key to allow for swiping in their direction for instant input
Use case
Programming on the go, mostly. Using this keyboard is basically not an option as entering symbols takes a lot of time - especially if the symbols are uncommon as in many programming languages
Describe alternatives you've considered
Using Unexpected Keyboard, which supports this feature. I would like to switch to this keyboard full time as it's wonderfully made
Additional context
I am aware a user would need to disable swipe typing to allow this to work. I am also aware this is a BIG ask that is essentially a niche nice-to-have - just throwing it out there tho

oh shit thats super cool ! i didnt know that was a feature. not quite what i was looking for but to add ajother method of accessing the symbols on top of this seems superflous, so ill close this issue.
one thing i immediately wanted was to hold the bottom lrft key, press a symbol, and release to be back in the alphabet. it doesnt work as it skips straight to the number layout, but funnily enough it works in reverse - when youre in the symbol layout, you can hold the ABC key, press a letter, release, and youre back at the symbols
