Description

Telegram WebNotifier is a browser extension that sends real-time notifications to your Telegram account whenever a webpage loads. It retrieves and sends various details, including webpage title, URL, IP address, geolocation coordinates, operating system details, battery level, and battery status.

Features

• Receive real-time notifications on Telegram when a webpage loads
• Send the following information:
  • Custom message (optional)
  • Webpage title and URL.
  • IP address using ipify.
  • Geolocation coordinates using the Browser Geolocation API.
  • Operating system details.
  • Battery level and status.
• Ensure privacy by using a dedicated bot and chat ID.

Requirements

1. A Telegram account
2. A laptop or desktop (not compatible with Android).
3. A bot to receive notifications.
4. A chat ID to ensure only you can see the bot's messages.

Installation

1. Clone or download this repository.
2. Open Browser.
3. Go to Extension.
4. Enable Developer Mode in the top right corner.
5. Click on "Load unpacked" and select the directory where you cloned/downloaded this repository.

Bot Setup

To use this extension, you need to set up a bot for receiving messages from your web browser. Follow these steps:

1. Open Telegram

2. Search for BotFather in the search box or Go to BotFather.

3. Create a bot and obtain your bot token (e.g., XXXXXXXXX:xxxxxxxxxDxxxxxxxSxxxxxxxxx2xxxxxxxxx)

4. After Create Bot Search get Chat ID or Go To Chat Id.

5. Tap START and Get chat ID.

6. Go to your Bot and Tap To START.

Configuration

1. After installing the extension, click on the extension icon in the browser toolbar.
2. Enter your bot token and chat ID to receive messages.
3. Optionally, configure a custom message to be included in notifications.

Usage

Telegram WebNotifier can be used for various purposes, such as:

• Monitoring browser activity when handing over your system to another person.
• Tracking search activity.
• Monitoring browser search activity without using third-party applications.
