Summary

One of the Eligibility filters on Simpler.Grants.gov is incorrect.

Grants.gov has these 2 filters:

  • Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
  • Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education

Simpler.Grants.gov has these 2 filters:

  • Nonprofits Non Higher Education with 501c3 <- wrong label
  • Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education

Should the incorrect label be relabeled and also reordered to match grants.gov?
Could both labels be abbreviated to:

  • Nonprofits with 501(c)(3), other than institutions of higher education
  • Nonprofits without 501(c)(3), other than institutions of higher education
