New Services (Experimental)
Changes
- Added SMB Protocol to connect to the Camera (a long SFTP)
- Added a lightweight HTTP server (in progress to provide some services)
- Added an experimental code to close rtsp when upgrading.
Known Issues
- Disabling CLOUD is not working as designed yet.
Notes
Streaming using Xiaomi Cloud Service and the RTSP will produce artifacts in the image and some frame drops.
Instructions
Copy the content of the release to the sdcard which needs to be in the camera all the time.
Important
Users with Firmware newer than X.138 without the toolset already working, you will have to downgrade to a previous version copying tf_recovery.img to the root of your sdcard. The the file can be found in the release 0.3 after renamin-it from tf_recovery.img.bak
- After powering the camera up, tf_recovery.img (Mijia 1080 only) will be loaded and the camera will be flashed with the release 0099
- Then, with this release already in the root of the SDCARD the tools will be automatically loaded and it is safe to upgrade to the latest release using the MiHome application ( use the default midgard.ini configuration, everything disabled except Xiaomi Streaming and Xiaomi Cloud)
Configure
After checking the camera restart and the blue and yellow leds blink for 5 seconds before turning fix blue, edit the configuration file, midgard.ini, to enable the different service.
For RTSP, use any Streamer player with RTSP support, like VLC
