This release contains the following supported template additions:

  • 1, 2, and 3 NIC templates
    The F5 Google Deployment Manager (GDM) templates for 1, 2, and 3 NIC are now fully supported. You can deploy any of these templates using pay as you go (PAYG) or bring your own license (BYOL) licensing. For PAYG licensing, you have the option of using 5Gbps of throughput, and the BIG-IP VE does not need Internet access to be licensed. All of these templates use the newly released BIG-IP v13.1.0.2.

  • Service Discovery
    All supported Google templates include the option of using Service Discovery. With Service Discovery, once you have properly tagged the servers you want to include, and then entered the corresponding tags and Google service account in the YAML file, the BIG-IP VE programmatically discovers (or removes) members using those tags. See the README files for complete information.
