Purchasing, Download, Installing and Patching The Digital Games
Step 1 - Click the link to visit the download page for the respective game.
Note: I highly recommend using a translation extension in your browser to make it easier to understand what you are doing.
Step 2 - Make an account by hovering your mouse over the user icon and then clicking the big yellow icon.
Step 3 - Go through the registration process as you would with any other website.
Step 4 - This website works a little differently compared to other market places, you cannot just click "Buy it now" and then checkout, you must first purchase "DMM Points", if you try to click "Buy it now" you will see this:
Step 5 - Hover your mouse over the user icon and then click "DMM Account Information".
Step 6 - Once in the settings page click the 3 option that says "DMM Points".
Step 7 - On the next page you will be presented with options to purchase points, note that we can no longer use foreign (Non-Japanese) credit cards, so the only option we have is PayPal, click the option at the bottom.
Step 8 - The next page will ask you how many points you wish to buy, you can simply specify the charge amount to whatever the game costs, in my case it was 3562¥ or $26.34 USD.
Step 9 - The next page is just your ordinary order confirmation page, simply click the big yellow PayPal button and then proceed as you usually would to checkout.
Step 10 - After the purchase the order confirmation page will be shown.
Step 11 - Go back to the page for the game you want to buy and then click "Buy it now".
Step 12 - You will see a screen that allows you to use the DMM Points to checkout, simply click the big yellow "Confirm Purchase" button.
Step 13 - It should automatically redirect you to your library, if not you can get to it here.
Step 14 - Click on the game and then click download, please also note that a DRM checker tool has to be installed for the game to run, download it at the link they provide or here.
The guide below explains the things that need to be done in order to play Yosuga no Sora or Haruka na Sora on Windows 11.
NOTE: The digital versions of the games DO NOT SUPPORT the use of any location emulation software (such as Locale Emulator) please follow the guide to change the locale using windows built in settings.
Step 1 - Press the windows key and type "Settings".
Step 2 - On the sidebar click Time & Language.
Step 3 - Then click Language & region.
Step 4 - Then click the Add a language button.
Step 5 – A menu should pop-up, type “Japanese” into the search box, select the language and click next.
Step 6 – Another menu should follow, ensure you select the Language pack option and DO NOT tick the box to set it as your display language.
Step 7 - Press the windows key and type "Control Panel".
Step 8 - Click the section titled "Clock and Region".
Step 9 - Click the section titled "Region".
Step 10 - A new menu will pop-up in the top menu bar click the section that says "Administrative".
Step 11 - A new section will be displayed, under the section "Language for non-Unicode programs" click to change the system locale (it will ask for administrative permissions).
Step 12 - Change the current system locale to Japanese (Japan), click ok, close out of all menus and then restart the computer when prompted.
Note: DO NOT TICK the "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support" box.
Step 1 - Unzip the downloaded zip file it will be named cuffs_0010.zip or cuffs_0011.zip.
Step 2 - Run and install the sdrt5030.exe (Soft Battery Runtime) program, simply follow the instructions, it will ask for Administrative privileges ensure to grant it.
Step 3 - Open the unzipped folder and run the ヨスガノソラ.exe (Yosuga no Sora) or ハルカナソラ.exe (Haruka na Sora).
Step 4 - A menu will open asking for you to login, enter your credentials from the account you created on DLSoft, then game will then lauch automatically.
Step 5 - To patch the game simply replace the data.xp3 file and then run it.
