How do you overwrite the ID type?

Hello, the recent update changes the ID type from number to number | string.
I tried overriding it in types.d.ts but it doesn't work:

declare module "brackets-model" {
  export type Id = number;

}

Is it possible to override it back to number?

Hey! This was asked here as well. I'm planning to make this a generic type in the future.

Can you do without for now? What's your issue with the current type exactly?

I have an interface 'Team' that has the id property defined as number.

interface Team{
  id: number;
  name: string
}

I didn't think about this until now. Maybe I should start using your Id type for the id property?

Yes, using the Id from brackets-model is a good idea for the time being.

You can later use generics when they come out 😉
