The
programspackage is accessible to the public for advanced users but is primary intended for use internally by other parts of the library.The package was designed with cross platform capability in mind but as of right now is only setup for linux. The package makes it really easy to install and manage tools on the Jenkins agent.
This is a stepping stone to providing more advanced features now that we can easily install tools like Terraform, AWS CLI and others!
