Terminology

Note: this terminology is effective for the development version of Thaliak. The terminology is somewhat different for the current production version.

Objects

Service

A Service represents a single "live service region" of FFXIV.

Thaliak currently supports the following services:

• FFXIV Global
• FFXIV Korea
• FFXIV China

Game Version

Each Service has many Game Versions.

Each Game Version is numbered as SE numbers it - i.e. "6.31" - and has several Repo Versions to describe the state of the game installation for that game version.

Repository

Each Service has many Repositories.

Repo Version

Each Repository has many Repo Versions. Each Service has many Repo Versions.

Patch

Each Repo Version has zero, one, or many Patches. Multipart patches are treated as part of a single repo version.
