Help Testing New Release

Greetings community,

Jason has made updates to the 4 workhorse films agents: GEVI, AEBN, GayhotMovies and GayDVDEmpire. Per the release notes:

Here are the latest scrapers.

I have put a lot of code into and updated some functions in utils.py

1. Tidy Genres - each website uses its own genres, I have tried my best to equalise these, for example muscular men, muscled, bodybuilders are now under muscled. There is a tab separated file called tidy.tsv that should go into %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Plug-ins. This file has the original genres from the above websites and the new name wanted separated by 1 TAB. This gives the user the ability to edit it and give his own definitions to the genres. an 'x' after the tab means that the system will drop the genre. REMEMBER Case is important. I am investigating how to implement a case insensitive dictionary.
2. Countries: One of the users had requested a way on how to add countries in AEBN, And I went a bit further and tidied this up to, Genre Categories like British, Japanese, Russian are now converted to the respective countries. Spanish Speaking/ Languages is not as the language is used in many countries... The official names of the countries are in a file called country.txt. In the tidy.tsv file genre/categories that can be used as a country must have the field after the tab correspond to the country in the country.txt file. GEVI has also been improved to look at the location metadata to use this facility. You can also add a town like London TAB United Kingdom, to take into account where a town rather than a country has been mentioned. This file has to be put in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Plug-ins
3. Logging has been tidied up. I used the tidy up of the logging to find a number of errors and oversights that had passed through previously. Logging now gives more information.
4. GEVI: has been improved to take into account that many films have links to the same films in AEBN, GayhotMovies and GayDVD. GEVI has been amended to grab genres and country information from these other websites. This now means that we will have less films with a 31st Dec date. Also get better posters and art work.
5. Duration matching, title matching etc have been improved for all agents as these are utils.py functions.
6. AEBN: the search string has now been set to be within QUOTES as too many search results were retrieved slowing this agent down.
7. Chapters: This idea from codeAnator has been implemented. for all films that have scene breakdowns which are provided by default by AEBN, GHM and GayDVDEmpire... As GEVI also has access to these titles at times, scrapping with GEVI will retrieve Chapter information from these external websites. It uses Chapter in this order, AEBN, GHM and lastly GayDVDEmpire as there is the least info on that....
8. AEBN: Sexual Positions are now included in as Genres and are handled in the same way as the main genres.
9. All movies that are Stacked now have a default Stacked collection - so that one can keep track of them and update them to normal movies as Chapters don't work well with these. - I have not fixed this yet.... As uses can merge the parts if needed using programs like MKVToolNix

I have tested the new stuff against my whole library of over 10,000 titles.....
After scraping, I look through the collections to find which ones are duplicated or not included in the tidy.tsv and add them to that file with the new genre I want them to be named as, for example in GEVI you get B/D which I included as BDSM... As you find these outlier genres let me know so that I update this file.

Remember the tidy.tsv and country.txt files - they have to be in the plugin directory for these agents to work correctly.

If you would like to test the release before it gets merged into the master repository, you can do so by navigating to the code tab, selecting the 220714-Release Testing Branch, and downloading and installing the agents as always. There are two new files that need to be at in the plugin directory: tidy.tsv and country.txt. Please report back with any progress, issues, etc. Thanks so much in advance for your help, community!

Downloading to test! @CodyBerenson just to clarify, if I want to test against an already matched film in my library, I find one that was matched with GEVI, AEBN, GayhotMovies or GayDVDEmpire and refresh metadata? For example, it couldn't be one that I matched with the IAFD agent, right?

I don't believe the previous GEVI agents would have made that match, either.

Can you send the GEVI weblink pointing to the movie.... so I can try and manipulate the search string to get it?? To try and rectify this: right click on the hamburger dots next to your server name -> Select Manage Server, then in order select, Clean Bundles, Empty Trash then finally Optimise Database. Then reboot your server. One thing you have forgotten to do is copy the new files tidy.tsv and country.txt to your plugin folder ... put them in the same folder where GEVI.Bundle and GayHotmovies.Bundle reside. As you look through your log you can see the old genres but not the new tidied up ones.... I will also improve on the logging to show the difference between using tidied versus original.... I´ve tested the following movies:

(Academy Video) - Military Muscle (1994) from GEVI.
It matches, but the genres didn't tied up with the ones in the tidy.tsv file that I have in the plugins folder alongside with the country.txt.
Here's the log:

(21sextury Video) - Cockaholic (2007) from AEBN.
This one doesn´t match, it seems there is an error inside the plugin. I´ve noticed from de log that the genres also didn´t tied up with the ones settled in the file.

I have my plex server on a Synology NAS, unless I´m mistake it´s linux operating system, but I access it through a windows pc. I think that @j-ktz also has is plex server in a synology NAS.

I´ve tested another film with AEBN, this one has several scenes, one per file, it's not a single file. It gives me an error, it looks like it doesn't stack the various parts as one movie.

The movie is Joe Gage Sex Files 13 - Off-Duty Cops (2013), and the files are named:

You can see in the log above the errors in searching for the metadata.

I replaced the plugins with the newly released versions, put the tidy.txt and country.txt files in the same folder as the plugins, and retested the movies and the following situations occurred:

1 - In none of the films tested was there any change in genres, analyzing the agent logs, an error message appears:

followed by the complete listing of genres contained in the tidy.txt file. I didn't modify the file, it's the original from download.

2- With regard to the film Cockaholic (2007), which had corresponded through the AEBN in addition to the genres not being tied up, I noted that plex does not show in the movie page all the actors that are listed on the AEBN page. If I try to match the film via GEVI, all actors appear, but the genres remain unchanged. Below are the AEBN and GEVI logs for the film in question. Where is the cast info and pic pulled from?

No Director and ": Director name"
I'm posting this in this topic because this is the version of PGMA I'm currently using -- although I think applies to the current released version as well.

For content that doesn't have a Director, I am still getting "fusion-body" code in place of a blank field.
Here are a couple examples

• Eager Holes
• European Bare Fuckers
• Daddy Knows Best
• Even More Twink 3 Ways

There are many more examples of Feature titles with these distinct "directors" in my collection -- after rescanning to test this build (I'm only into the Feature titles that start with G).

Also, still in regards to the Director Field, these are a few of the titles which have a ": " preceding the director's name.

• Gamins de L'Internat 2
• Dawson's 50 Load Weekend 1

What is the best way to find the specific log(s) for the affected videos?
I know the logs for PGMA are located in ..\Logs\PMS Plugin Logs\
I see the log0 files with the different agents names embedded, and I've opened a few up and searched for recent titles manually, but I haven't located any of the videos I've mentioned or some more recent titles.
Unfortunately, I'm rebuilding around 1,000+ titles at the moment, so the log files are getting updated frequently with new data.
When this latest batch finishes, I'll see which titles have the bad Director name(s) and refresh the data one at a time and see if I can't discover which log it's in.

In plex go to the film you want to scrape and refresh metadata. When it finishes scrapping - send me the file... jp *at* hudson *dot* gmail *dot* com repeat for the next film title..... From within the XML you have these two attributes addedAt="1659063214" updatedAt="1659237758" they show the date - this will probably be number of seconds since 1970-01-01 You can use this website to convert these to standard dates https://www.epochconverter.com/ I haven't' yet started working on IAFD - there are a number of matching issues that need to be sorted out - but it is the next agent on the list. I have done some major rewriting around GEVI, AEBNiii, GayhotMovies and GayDVDEmpire. These have been followed by GayFetishandBDSM, GayMovie and GayWorld as these three are very similar... Re: Fagalicious, please folks, any extra testing would be great...so that any genres that are not handled by the code and the gaytidy.txt can be collected and then added to gaytidy.

I had not updated the original fagalicious code in relation to tags/genres/cast for ages and new ones may have creeped in. With the new code anything that is unhandled will pop up in the cast list and can easily be spotted.
