Description

I am reporting a bug encountered by a customer regarding the Neve theme and its integration with the Feedzy plugin. The issue arises when we try to make the Feedzy imported posts sticky.

After importing a post using the Feedzy plugin and marking it as sticky, then adding another post with a different account or making another post sticky result in the author of the first sticky post being changed and displayed incorrectly on the site.

Expected behavior: The correct author should be displayed consistently on the site. Adding additional posts or changing post stickiness should not affect the author of previously imported sticky posts.

Please let me know if any further information is required to address and resolve this bug.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

  1. Install and activate the Neve theme.
  2. Install and activate the Feedzy plugin and Feedzy pro plugin.
  3. Configure the Feedzy plugin to import posts with the option to display the post author in the map content(It is a pro feature).
  4. Now Import the posts using the Feedzy plugin, and mark any one of them as sticky.
  5. Verify that the correct author is displayed for the imported sticky post on the site.
  6. Attempt to add another post using your account or make another post sticky.
  7. Observe that the author of the first sticky post is changed and displayed incorrectly.

I have also recorded a screencast showing all the steps to avoid confusion. You can find it in the section below.

@kushh23 Just to confirm, this issue doesn't occur when any other theme is being used?
