needed because on-background data-received did not work for Android Cordova (works for Ionic1, Ionic2, and PhoneGap)
to not scare off users of our potentially slow system
don’t want to discourage users of our slow dashboard system
onDeviceResume is required for Android background (cordova only). renamed DeepLinkHandler section to deprecated
