🧠 Brainly - Second Brain App

Brainly is a Second Brain app that helps users collect and organize content from various sources like Twitter, YouTube, Google Docs, and more—all in one centralized place.
This project is part of 100xDevs Cohort 3, built under the guidance of Harkirat Singh.

🛠️ Installation & Setup

1️⃣ Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/BeastxD7/brainly.git
cd brainly

2️⃣ Set up the backend

cd backend
npm install
  • Configure .env with your MongoDB URL & JWT secret.
  • Start the backend server:
npm run dev

3️⃣ Set up the frontend

cd ../frontend
npm install
npm run dev

🔑 Environment Variables

Create a .env file in the backend folder with:

MONGO_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string
JWT_SECRET=your_secret_key
VITE_API_URL="http://localhost:3000/api"

Authentication

Content
