Welcome to the orb_it wiki!

Orb_it (Orbital Integrator Tester) is a python-based end-to-end testing package that tests orbit prediction accuracy for Open Source Orbit Integrators.

It can support Find_Orb, OpenOrb, and OrbFit. This wiki will outline installing, running, and modifying this package.

Besides testing integrators, orb_it provides robust python integrator wrappers for the three integrators it supports. These can be used independently of the tester.

Note

This documentation wiki is not synced to the docstrings in orb_it. These should be taken as rough outlines of what each function actually takes in and returns out. To see the most updated version of the documentation, look at each function's docstring.
