Project Overview

This project was developed as part of the Database Management System (DBMS) course during our 4th semester. It serves as a practical application of the concepts and techniques we learned in the course, showcasing our ability to design and implement a functional database system.

The primary objective of this project was to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in the DBMS course to a real-world application, demonstrating proficiency in database design, implementation, and management.

Project Description

An online shoes management system that optimizes inventory management, enhances customer experience and drives business growth for retailers.

It Ensures seamless user experience and optimal operational efficiency for both customers and administrators.

It efficiently handles :

• Shoes orders.
• Customer orders.
• Shoe sales.
• Suppliers orders.

Installation

1. Install Nodemon

npm install -g nodemon

2. Install Express.js

npm install express

3. Install TailwindCSS

npm install -D tailwindcss

Deployment

To deploy this project in Visual studio code, you need to :

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/ArpanSurin/Online-Shoes-Management-System.git

2. Navigate to project directory

cd Online-Shoes-Management-System

3. Start the Server

cd Server
npm start

4. Start the website

npm run dev
