OCR Support is a mod for Crusader Kings 3 to be played with a screen reader, like NVDA.
Yes, this works with OCR, it's not a full screen reader support.
However, it is reliable, and the mod provides a lot of hotkeys, plus Autohotkey helps us speed up OCR interactions.
Here's a video example of what the game is like:

The game is fully accessible, with all DLCs, and can be played with sighted people in multiplayer.
Go to Installation Guide for mod download links and installation steps.
Join the discord to ask any questions.
Note, the mod itself is English. You can try to use the game in your own language, make sure to set NVDA's OCR language to it too.
Crusader kings is a real-time but pausable grand strategy game set in the Middle Ages, from 867 to 1456 AD.
There are thousands of playable characters, from Iceland to India. They will fall in love and murder each other, create heresies and, of course, fight in wars and crusades.
Characters and their stories are the primary focus of the game, not strictly warfare. You will raise and protect your dynasty and continue playing as your children after you die, either from old age, or more likely, from battle wounds or poisoned wine.
Think of this as a Game of Thrones, just without dragons. Speaking of, you can play the AGOT mod in CK3!
The game is available on Steam and Gamepass, but we recommend Steam. There are more mods available on the Steam workshop, and it lets you roll back to an older version, which may be needed while waiting for the mod to catch up.
The game is available on consoles, but without access to mods, so we cannot use it there.
I will continue to improve and optimize the mod.
If I have time to work on it regularly, I'll add support for other big mods, like AGOT and LOTR.
Later I'll try to set it up for translations to other languages.
I've been working on the mod by myself and it's taken a year and a half so far.
If you enjoy it, consider making a donation through ko-fi:
Shout-outs for continuous support to ohylli, zkline and Lord Luceus. You have my gratitude.
If you're a modder and wish to join, DM me on discord.
A special thank you to Tobbzn for the old distance calculation script. It's deprecated now but was crucial before T&T.
