Since these upgrades occur once a year, I would update to the latest LTS, which is not version 18 but version 20. |
Yes, It would be useful to upgrade to version 20 LTS, but since we haven't yet tested these versions in a generated project, we have chosen to proceed incrementally and upgrade to version 18, which still has at least one year of guaranteed support. However, I agree on upgrading to version 20, and I would plan the intervention by experimenting with its usage in a generated project. |
