I've installed them in reverse, when realized and tried to remove the belts to swap them, the middle part broke out (see pic.)

Additional info:

  • probably I've installed the covers with longer screws than intended
  • I've also had white (reinforced, stiff) belts installed, this could've also caused the "harder to remove" effect

Oh, you definitely want to add screws here because the plastic parts are in shear.

This view of Red5's Tri-Zero shows what it should look like, with M3 screw (I think M3x8 or M3x6, would have to check CAD or measure)

I also modified this part when installing it on mine to have a through hole with a heat set insert on the back and then held in place with washers.
