Not able to grab username in IE #8

I know IE is such a petty nuisance, but just to report an issue that it will alert "Username is required" on IE. I don't know what may have 'caused it since it doesn't seem like there should be an IE bug on getting input out of textfield with the libraries you are using.

It's probably HTML5 validations. I don't think they're supported until IE9

Yea, IE8 is such a real pain in the neck that I don't even know if anyone wants to deal with it nowadays. I think the other one I suggested for viewing multiple users may be more worthwhile to work on
