Issue Summary

When using Shift-Command-Enter to generate code suggestions in the assistant, the suggestions frequently fail to appear.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Open the Assistant and request a code change with some context.
2. Press Shift-Command-Enter to generate code suggestions.
3. Wait for the assistant to process the request.

Actual Behavior

The assistant does not show the generated code changes.

when i click that box, a blank diff panel appear.

Expected Behavior:
i should see the code changes.
