I did some testing a couple days before. AoS can hit blocks (and maybe even players) at distances about 135-140 blocks. OS hits only about 128-129 blocks. I believe that limiting hit range does not decrease cheating, maybe even makes it more obvious at times.
*I did waste lots of ammo
*I used OS .012b, AoS .75, Pysnip (none had source modified or ran scripts influencing hit range)
