Please ensure that you are using the correct DNS servers. If you are using AdGuard, unrestricted (no family filtering) ones that work are the following:

94.140.14.14
94.140.15.15

I'm not using Adguard, but I'm experiencing this issue. I use ExpressVPN and a pihole with no changes between "before" experiencing the issue and "after". It does however coincide with YouTube blocking me with a "please sign in" message from playing any video on any device on my network when I am not signed in (very annoying since I like to play background music while working in an incognito tab so my recommendations aren't all background music).

However, Smarttube is signed in, so this issue should not occur.

I got a video to work that didn't work an hour ago. I rebooted my device (Nvidia Shield), waited about a minute for my device to finally connect to date time servers (instead of saying it was October 18 2022?!), opened smarttube and noticed it was confused about which account I was using, and toggled accounts until I was on the correct one. Maybe my login expired or something weird? It does seem like incorrect caching of the error state though.

Same thing on FireOS (FireTV Stick). A lot of videos with this error.

Yeap, I am signed in.

Playing all content without issues on the YouTube App.

This started to affect me a few days ago, gradually affecting more videos.
I tried relogging in, using a different account, to no avail.

I restarted my firestick, loaded the app, clicked on a known problematic video, and it played fine.

Already tried this, also reinstalling: doesn't work for me.
