Inoreader is using the Google Reader API https://www.inoreader.com/developers/
FreshRSS (which also supports Fever API), Inoreader, FeedHQ, The Old Reader, etc. all support the Google Reader API, so it would be a good investment.

For servers supporting multiple APIs (such as FreshRSS), the Google Reader API is more powerful and efficient than the Fever API (e.g. ability to add/remove feeds / categories, filters when retrieving articles, etc.).
I can gladly provide sparing when it comes to the approach for using that API efficiently. See e.g. FreshRSS/FreshRSS#2566 (comment)
