updating my base-aroma made all my text disappear.

I recently updated my Base-Aroma but once I rebooted my Wii U I fond that all my text had disappeared, I thought for some time but I also had remembered me changing my Wii u's language from Japanese to English but after removing some files that still did nothing and I cant access any of my apps on my Wii U to change anything so I dont know what to do.

What happens when you boot the console without a sd card?

When I boot it without the sd card it works normally but without the home brew apps
