I am coming from stack of Ghostty, tmux, neovim, yazi on MacOS for my development workflow (I work mostly with web development and Rails)
The wave seems super promising, looks much better and i can see a lot of potential for having a single place I can work in without breaking out to another app, but there are some things driving me nuts from the start.
I'd like to open dev tools for a web view as part of the block or as a block next to the preview. But that's a less important issue.
What's driving me absolute nuts is that I see no option to customize the editor used to open files through files preview and through wsh editconfig. A simple new block opening with neovim (or an editor set with $EDITOR) or something like this would make this terminal viable.
I surely am not the only one absolutely hating the builtin editor, right? I appreciate it's there, I can see the love that was given to it, but it can never be and should not strive to be the one and only solution for opening files inside wave, right?
Maybe there is a way to make wave use neovim as the default editor i am not aware of?
Thank you very much for developing this!
The amount of potential I see in this type of an app is tramendous and I am truly hurting that such a small thing makes it a no go for me 😞
