Errors with Rnw beamer file #1

I am receiving errors when I try to convert to ipynb:

pandoc: /tmp: openFile: does not exist (No such file or directory)
Error: pandoc exited with non-zero status
/bin/sh: notedown: command not found
notedown executable not found.
You need notedown utility for md -> ipynb conversion

I do have notedown installed with pip. Any suggestions? Thanks!
