This chrome extension enables subtitles by default and skips the intro.
Hotstar does not save our subtitle preferences, so I had to enable it every time. I also found myself skipping the intro every time, so I created this simple extension.

-> From Chrome/Edge -> Menu (3 dots in upper right corner)-> More tools-> Extensions
-> Enable "Developer mode", then select “Load unpacked" and browse to the directory where you have downlaoded this repo.
