I get this error when importing:

Error:(68, 0) Could not read script 'D:\android\Android studio Projects\what_the_thing\node_modules\react-native\react.gradle' as it does not exist.

Do you have imported all React native project to android studio? I think that you just need to import 'android' folder of the project
