Well, F-Droid will survive it. So will my repo. Whether your app will is a different issue:

I wanted to change "Android Network Scanner" to "Android IP Scanner" but in this case I think I'll just update the name of the app, in the toolbar, in the descriptions etc and let network just for the repo and package. Thanks ! |

That's perfectly fine! Plenty of such apps around if you keep your eyes open – I mean apps where the packageName doesn't seem to match the app's name, for "historical reasons". |

Hey! I changed my GitHub username so changed the repo name too as it would break up things anyway. I will not change the package name |

That happened a couple of days ago already, right? I already adjusted it then. Oh, last time you just changed the username-part, I see. The old URL still redirects. Funny that my updater thinks vc 84 is still the latest version, though there were 2 new releases already, and the older ones were even removed. Somehot Github API seems not yet have to caught up. Don't do this renaming too often, please 😉 Argh, now I see. You've also changed the tag name and versionName pattern… So yes, 86 > 1, so it will take a while until it picks something automatically. OK, I've fetched v1.0.1 manually now and adjusted metadata here to match the new naming pattern. Please stick to that now 😉 |

Sorry that's because at the beginning it was a little project just for myself and only for GitHub so I didn't have to bother sticking to the version patterns, repo name etc... Now I can't change anything anymore 😂. No just kidding, thanks for adding my app to your repo, from now I'll try to stick to this repository and version pattern, sorry for the inconvenience |

As long as it was just "finding your way" and is not a "constantly moving target", all is fine, no worries 😃 |

Hey @IzzySoft !
I wanted to know, if I change the repository name, I guess it'll break everything? And if I change the package name too?
