Suggestion: For the detailed hillshade plot where subplots are taken from the IE moving variance, show:

  • the distribution of the IE variance, to highlight how "good" vs "bad" the selected areas are (how wide is the dist.)
  • subplots of the IE in another row between the hillshade and image
