Prepare a fresh Ubuntu instance for ODE installation

1. Update apt

sudo apt update

2. Install Maven and verify version

sudo apt install maven maven -version

3. Install docker

sudo apt install docker.io

4. Install docker-compose

sudo -i
curl -L https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/1.12.0/docker-compose-`uname -s`-`uname -m` > /usr/bin/docker-compose`
exit
sudo chmod +x /usr/bin/docker-compose

5. Install oracle java 8

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
sudo apt update
sudo apt install oracle-java8-installer
export JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-oracle

6. Start docker daemon

IMPORTANT! Must logout then log back in before doing this step!

sudo service docker restart

7. From here, follow the ODE install and build instructions in the README.
