What would be the appetite to have Bazel support natively in this repo? I would be willing to pitch in to make it happen. Please let me know.

Bazel is a build system by Google: https://bazel.build/. Support for the new Modules referred to as bzlmod and the legacy WORKSPACE method would be ideal.

I'm in favour of supporting Bazel builds 👍.

I don't really have much experience with bazel but if you willing to pitch-in we can certainly make that happen.
