Prerequisites

Describe the issue

When using nesting color modes as described in the docs nesting-color-modes colors are set as expected.

Nevertheless, when using headers (h1, h2, h3, ...), the nesting color mode is not applied correctly. Headers still have the color of the dark color mode (color --bs-heading-color, not visible on white background):
