It would be useful to beable to position the tooltip to the mouse insted of the element. That way, we can use in on multi-line element. Actualy, if an element is multi-lined, the tooltip display in the middle of the 2 part... not userful...

Don't think we want to make this follow the mouse at this point - thanks for the request though!

I'd like to complement asakurayoh's bug report with a screenshot from the Bootstrap site:

The tooltip placement in this case is quite confusing.

In a case like this, one workaround would be to add white-space: nowrap to those links. Not a very good workaround, though.

I realy don't get it why just deny on this feature @fat ? I think there are a lot of use cases where "position by the mouse cursor" would be benefitial.

Locking this issue due to its age.
Based on the above angular-ui bugs, it sounds like this feature isn't easy to implement properly.
